For the fourth consecutive year, readers of Redmond magazine named Acronis True Image a preferred product for "Drive Imaging," according to results published in the November 2008 "Best of the Best" issue.
Acronis True Image provides both full image and file-based backups. Image-based backups take a snapshot of the entire computer - including programs and the operating system - which can be restored in the event of a hard drive crash or catastrophic operating system failure. With file-based backup, users can select specific files and folders to protect.
"Direct feedback from the Redmond readers is a true testament to how our products are received in the market," said Jason Donahue, CEO of Acronis. "It's a privilege they have selected Acronis among their preferred products for the fourth consecutive year."
