Software provider adds new distributor to break into the system builder market
London, May 17, 2011 - Acronis, a leading provider of easy-to-use disaster recovery and data protection solutions for physical, virtual and cloud environments, today announced a distribution deal with leading IT distributor EntaTech. The agreement will allow Acronis to tap into the system builder market in the UK for the first time.
EntaTech will provide Acronis' new corporate product line announced earlier this month, Acronis® Backup & Recovery™ 11. The solution provides integrated disaster recovery and data protection across physical, virtual and cloud environments for small-to-medium sized businesses and branches and departments of enterprise organisations.
The distributor will also sell Acronis' full consumer range, including an exclusive licence of the vendor's flagship product Acronis® True Image™ Home which will be sold bundled with Microsoft® Windows 7 OEM.
Jon Atherton Vice-President at EntaTech commented "We are delighted to announce the partnership with Acronis which will complement the storage solutions in our product portfolio perfectly."
"EntaTech slots perfectly within our existing distribution portfolio, while allowing us to break into a new market. To sell to system builders is the next logical step in our business development strategy and EntaTech was the obvious choice to help us achieve this goal," explained David Blackman, General Manager Northern Europe and Middle East at Acronis.
