Acronis Promotes Mo Vafadar to Vice President of Global Operations

Woburn, September 4, 2014 - Acronis®, the global leader in new generation data protection, has appointed Mo Vafadar as the new Vice President Global Operations to continue improving strategy and tactics to reach Acronis' goal of $1 billion in revenues.

In his new role, Mo is responsible for the strategy and direction of sales and marketing operations across the entire global company. This includes co-spearheading Acronis' market and channel development strategies, planning the annual sales compensation process, and establishing a high level of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting. Additionally, Mo will lead efficient allocation of technology and oversee sales and marketing systems. To achieve all of these goals, he'll collaborate with other internal departments and the management team on a global level.

Mo started at Acronis as Director of Global Business Intelligence & Operational Readiness in April 2009. His main responsibilities were designing and implementing Acronis' data warehouse, building a business intelligence platform, and managing CRM and the marketing operations teams.
