Amy Luby,
Acronis' Chief Channel Evangelist, and Alex Ruslyakov,
Acronis' Channel Chief, to its 2022 Channel Chiefs list. CRN's
annual Channel Chiefs project identifies top IT channel vendor
executives who continually demonstrate expertise, influence and
innovation in channel leadership.
A panel of CRN editors selected the honorees for their channel
dedication, industry stature and accomplishments as channel
advocates. The 2022 Channel Chiefs are influential leaders who
continue to shape the IT channel with innovative strategies,
programs and partnerships.
With 27 years of experience in global channel sales, marketing,
support, and operations, Amy Luby has a proven track record of
building high-performance direct and indirect channels from the
ground up while establishing, building, and growing channel
communities. She is also a proven entrepreneur and pioneer in the
IT services industry, having founded and built one of the first
managed services providers (MSPs) in the United States and then
expanded that into one of the first Master MSPs, defining those
business models in the process. Luby founded Modern MSP, a global
MSP community sharing best practices daily and sits on several
channel community boards, including ASCII and CompTIA.

Through his past 15 years at Acronis at different times, Alex
Ruslyakov held positions of VP of Global Sales Engineering,
Director of Global Professional Services, Director of Development,
Head of Product Management for corporate products, and Lead
Technical Account Manager for strategic accounts. Alex started his
career in 2003 as Sun Solaris Systems Engineer after getting his
Master's degree in computer science and software programming. He
also graduated from Harvard Business School in Sales and
Distribution Channel Teams Management.
