SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland – September 2025 – Acronis, a
global leader in cyber protection, is evolving its business strategy to further
increase its focus on the attractive growth opportunities serving managed
service provider (MSP) partners and corporate IT/OT customers.
Following a
strategic review, Acronis will concentrate future investments on these areas, with
particular emphasis on continuous innovation including AI functionalities to further
enhance the product portfolio and the value proposition for these customers
groups.
As part of this
sharpened strategic, Acronis has decided to sunset Acronis SCS, its subscale subsidiary
dedicated exclusively to serving U.S. Federal customers and representing less
than 0.5% of Acronis’ business. While Acronis SCS will not pursue new
federal contracts, it will continue to support its existing customers during a
transition period.
By combining
proven cyber protection expertise with advanced AI capabilities, Acronis will
continue to deliver the efficient, secure, and intelligent solutions that MSPs
and corporate IT customers are used to.
