United Kingdom-based MSP helps clients adhere to NCSC Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001 compliance.

Bluemoon IT Solutions’ team needed two separate patch management products to secure client workstations: Barracuda Managed Workplace and Ninite. They also used Dell Command Update or created a manual script to update hardware, firmware and BIOS patches. Juggling separate tools became costly and difficult to manage, hindering quality of protection. Barracuda, Ninite and Dell were also slow to enhance product development. Over time, Bluemoon required more tools to achieve complete protection.

KEY CHALLENGES

  • Expensive and complex tool management.
  • Time consuming manual scripting and patching.
  • Disparate tools elevated clients’ cyber risk.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Centralized patch management from a cost-effective and easy-to-use solution.
  • Improved security across diverse IT environments, including Microsoft 365 and third-party applications.
  • Compliant protection with today’s regulatory standards.

THE SOLUTION

Bluemoon chose Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud with RMM and EDR / XDR after extensive research and evaluation, replacing three tools with one solution.

THE IMPACT

  • Saves 20%-30% in costs by natively integrating patch management, vulnerability assessment, antivirus, EDR / XDR and AI-enabled scripting.
  • Empowers technicians of all skill levels to perform security tasks with Acronis Copilot and a prebuilt script repository.
  • Improves cyber resilience by unifying RMM and security in a single console.
“Having that single solution covering various applications has saved us 20%-30% of our costs. Our focus in terms of compliance is on Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001. Acronis helps us achieve those accreditations within our client base because it does such a great job looking after patching.”
