Upgrading your license

Acronis True Image is available only as a subscription. Purchasing a subscription gives you access to all features, updates, and technical support for the duration of your subscription period.

You can upgrade your subscription at any time to include more features or protect more computers. Any remaining days from your current subscription will be automatically transferred to the new one.

To upgrade your license using Acronis True Image

  1. Open Acronis True Image.
  2. Select the Account tab. The Account window opens.
  3. Click Upgrade.
  4. Select the number of computers to protect.
  5. Select the subscription type.
  6. If you upgrade to Acronis True Image Premium, select the amount of Acronis Cloud to include with your upgrade.
  7. Click Upgrade now. The shopping cart opens.
  8. Review the details and complete the purchase.
  9. Go to your Acronis account.

If you now have two active subscriptions, a conflict warning appears.

To resolve the subscription conflict

  1. Click Resolve conflict.
  2. Select the Upgrade the current subscription to checkbox.
  3. Click Resolve.
After your license expires, you can switch to a plan with fewer features. While your current subscription is active, downgrading is not available.
