Configuring Protection exclusions

Protection exclusions is a list of trusted files, folders, and applications that will be excluded from monitoring and scanning processes.

Add items to this list if you are sure that they are safe and you do not want Protection to detect them again.

To add items to Protection exclusions

1. On the Protection dashboard, in the left panel, click Protection exclusions.

2. Add the item that you want to exclude:

   • Add a file if you want Protection to skip a specific trusted item.
   • Add a folder if you want Protection to skip all trusted items stored in that location.
3. Save your changes.

To remove items from Protection exclusions

1. On the Protection dashboard, in the left panel, click Protection exclusions.
2. Select the items that you want to remove.
3. Remove the selected items and click Save so that Protection starts scanning them again.
