Reviewing the Installation Procedure

Installation consists of the following four parts, each with a number of steps that are described in the following sections:

1. Use the installer and serial number provided by Acronis to install the Access Connect on each node of the cluster.
2. Use the Access Connect Administrator application to configure the necessary Access Connect service(s) on each node of the cluster.
3. Use the Microsoft Cluster Administrator application, provided with Windows 2003, or the Failover Cluster Management application, provided with Windows Server 2008, to configure the Microsoft clustering service.
4. Use the Access Connect Administrator application to configure shared folders and other features of the Access Connect service.
