HSM Registry Keys -- Refreshable

The following keys control certain features or behaviors of Access Connect ArchiveConnect support. The keys in this section are refreshable and take effect when the Refresh Registry button is clicked on the Settings dialog of the Access Connect Administrator or when the service is started.

These keys should be added in the following registry location:

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\ExtremeZ-IP\Parameters4\HSM\Refreshable\

AlwaysAttemptReadOnlyRecall

• Description: When enabled, if Access Connect fails to open a recall handle with Read/Write access it will always attempt to open a handle with read access regardless of the Read/Write access error. Set to 1 to enable.
• Default: Off
• Refreshable: Yes

BringOnlineExplicitlyBlocksCopies

• Description: Whether or not the "bring online explicitly" feature blocks file copies.
• Default: On
• Refreshable: Yes

HSMSupportEnabled

• Description: Whether or not ArchiveConnect support is enabled.
• Default: Off
• Refreshable: Yes

HSMIntegrity

• Description: When enabled, HSM processing is checked for internal consistency. This may affect performance.
• Default: Off
• Refreshable: Yes

OfflineColorLabel

• Description: The color label to apply to offline files. Possible values are "grey", "green", "purple", "blue", "yellow", "red" and "orange".
• Default: grey
• Refreshable: Yes
