Cyber Frame usage reporting
The Cyber Frame cluster reports resource consumption to Cyber Protect Cloud. The reported data is used to calculate billing for the partner and to track resource usage per customer tenant.
Usage is reported at two levels:
- Partner level – reflects the physical infrastructure of the cluster: physical CPU cores.
- Customer level – reflects the resources that are consumed by each customer tenant on the cluster.
Partner-level usage
The following metrics are reported at the partner level:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Physical CPU cores | Total number of physical CPU cores across all nodes in the cluster. Reported as 0 if no virtual machines are running on the cluster. |
| Block storage | Total block storage used on the cluster, outside of customer tenant projects. |
| Object storage (S3) | Total object storage (S3) used on the cluster, outside of customer tenant projects. Backup gateway storage is excluded. |
Customer-level usage
The following metrics are reported per customer tenant:
Cyber Frame Cloud
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| vCPUs (allocated) | Virtual CPUs allocated in the customer's project. |
| vCPUs (consumed, per month) | Virtual CPU usage, prorated hourly and reported per month. |
| RAM (allocated) | Virtual RAM allocated in the customer's project. |
| RAM (GB consumed, per month) | RAM usage, prorated hourly and reported per month. |
| Block storage (allocated) | Block storage allocated for virtual machine disks in the customer's project. |
| Block storage (GB consumed, per month) | Block storage usage, prorated hourly and reported per month. |
| Floating IP addresses (allocated) | Number of floating IP addresses assigned in the customer's project. |
| Floating IP addresses (consumed, per month) | Floating IP address usage, prorated hourly and reported per month. |
| VPN connections | Number of active VPN connections in the customer's project. |
| Windows Server licenses (allocated per vCPU) | Total number of vCPUs allocated to Windows Server virtual machines in the customer's project. |
| Windows Server licenses (consumed per vCPU, per month) | Windows Server vCPU usage, prorated hourly and reported per month. |
A consumed metric appears only after usage is reported. Until then, its value is shown as a dash (—).

Billing
Cyber Frame Cloud
Partners are billed based on consumed usage. Virtual CPUs, RAM, block storage, floating IP addresses, and Windows Server licenses are metered continuously (prorated hourly) and billed per month.
To review your usage, use the usage reports in Management Portal.
Cyber Frame Local
Partners are billed based on the number of physical CPU cores on the cluster. Billing is flat: the amount is typically the same each month, until you extend or shrink the cluster. Use the consumption report in Management Portal to review resource usage per customer, and charge customers accordingly.
CPU core billing begins only when at least one customer has running virtual machines on the cluster. Until then, partner-level metrics are reported as 0 and no charges apply.
If your Cyber Frame cluster is registered in multiple data centers, usage is reported to the primary registration only. To avoid double billing, secondary registrations receive zero values for partner-level metrics. Customer-level usage is reported to each data center where the customer tenant is registered.
