Dashboards

A dashboard is a page that shows the data that you need to monitor in one place. A dashboard consists of sections, and each section contains widgets that display the data. For example, the Protection summary dashboard has the sections Assets Overview, Microsoft 365 Protection, and Backup Overview.

Default dashboards

Acronis provides default dashboards as a starting point. A default dashboard is not locked: edit or delete its widgets, rename it, and change its sections to make it fit your processes. To start from a template or from a blank dashboard, create a new dashboard.

Dashboard controls

Above the sections of a dashboard, the following controls are available:

  • The client selector, which is set to All clients by default. Select a client to show only the data of that client.
  • The time range selector, such as Last 7 days. Select the period for which the dashboard shows data.
  • Filters

The controls apply to every widget on the dashboard. If a filter of the dashboard conflicts with a filter that is set on a widget, the filter of the dashboard applies. If the filters do not conflict, both apply.

Dashboard actions

The following actions are available for a dashboard:

  • Edit – opens the dashboard in edit mode. In edit mode, add sections and widgets, rename the dashboard, change the order of the sections by dragging them, and select the clients that can see the dashboard in the Propagates to field. Click Save to keep your changes, or Cancel to discard them.
  • Download
  • Clone
  • Generate report – creates a report from the dashboard. The report is a snapshot of the data at that time.
  • Delete

The Propagates to field determines which clients can see the dashboard. To keep the dashboard private, select no client, for example, if you share information with your clients only in reports.
