Acronis True Image for Windows

Fixed issues

  • Unable to select a backup destination, the "Select destination" text is not clickable.
  • After the update from build 9850 to build 10410, the entries on the Activity tab are not shown if the number of the entries was quite large.
  • If the product was activated offline with a perpetual license, it demands reactivation when an Internet connection is enabled.
  • Under a WinPE media, the data cannot be recovered from a backup located on an NAS, the error "Acronis True Image backup file is corrupted" appears.
  • Backup stops after clicking "Back up now" if the setting "Do not back up on battery" is turned on and the power cord is unplugged.
  • In the notification area, the Acronis Active Protection icon is shown as unavailable after the update from build 9207 to build 9660.

Known issues

  • [TI-119448] The message 'The data you are trying to use is blocked at the moment. Please try again later.' appears on backup deletion.
  • [TI-115928] The archiving operation fails with error 'Write error' after the computer is woken up from the sleep mode.
  • [TI-54006] Some files remain on the local PC after archiving if the Internet connection is lost for some time during the archiving operation.
  • [TI-102104] Intel Stream x360 does not boot after recovery from a cloud backup.
  • [TI-100468] Acronis True Image requests credentials for a mapped public network share during the backup destination selection.
  • [TI-111221] The 'Do not back up on battery' option is not shown in settings after installing a UPS.

What's new

  • An ability to buy licenses via the in-product store.

Fixed issues

  • Old cloud backup versions are not deleted if the retention rules are set up by version age.
  • A backup to an external drive runs even when the destination is unavailable.
  • The console hangs if Mac goes to sleep and then wakes up during a backup.
  • An incremental Instagram backup fails with the 'Error from Archive Server' error if the previous backup was canceled.
  • Active Protection does not work on MacOS 10.13.2 Beta.
  • Google Chrome crashes on opening Acronis True Image.
  • On the Archiving tab, a path to the added file is not displayed after switching to another tab and then going back to Archiving.
  • Local mobile backup: an incorrect download link is specified in the 'Connect your device' window.
  • The backup comment is not reflected on the Activity tab.
  • Cleanup operation of a backup on an external drive is not displayed on the Activity tab.
  • macOS restarts if Boxcryptor is installed and Acronis Active Protection is turned on.

Known issues

  • [TI-119797] An incremental backup starts automatically after the system disk was recovered to the original location.
  • [TI-80267] The Recovery HD partition is not mapped automatically during recovery if the OS uses CoreStorage.
  • [TI-77461] The archiving operation is not paused after losing connection to the destination device and does not start after reconnection.
  • [TI-76748] A failed backup to an NAS does not resume after restoring the NAS connection settings.
  • [TI-80948] In case of unstable network connection, the recovery from a network share fails and the message 'The end of file has been reached' is displayed.

Acronis Mobile for iOS

Installation procedure

  1. Download and install the application from https://itunes.apple.com/app/id978342143.
  2. Run the application.

Fixed issues

  • Recovery from an Android backup to an iOS device fails if there are corrupted files in the backup.
  • In the app for NAS devices, the QR code is not shown when accessing the NAS device interface via HTTPs (HTTP can be used as a workaround).
  • After the full recovery from an encrypted backup, information about this backup remains in the application.
  • The message 'An unexpected error has occurred' is shown when an incorrect password is entered.
  • Contacts are recovered without the photos attached to them.

Known issues

  • [MB-74677] The setup page is shown if a backup failed and you tapped 'Cancel' in the error message window.
  • [MB-41351] Recovery is available if there is no access permission for the data category in the mobile app.
  • [MB-27636] The screen with message 'New data to back up!' is displayed in the mobile app right after completing a backup successfully.

Installation procedure

Fixed issues

  • An incorrect icon is shown on the empty Access and recovery page after connecting the mobile device to an NAS.
  • The application crashes if an encrypted backup is created after canceling the previous backup.
  • The application crashes if less than 5 percent of RAM is available.
  • In the app for NAS devices, the QR code is not shown when accessing the NAS device interface via HTTPs (HTTP can be used as a workaround).

Known issues

  • [MB-54019] The Last backup field shows wrong time elapsed from the moment of the last backup operation.
