SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF., June 7, 2005
Acronis, Inc., the leader in storage and systems management
software solutions, announced it is expanding its OEM program for
the Acronis portfolio of OEM products worldwide.
The Acronis OEM portfolio includes Acronis True
Image, the award-winning market leader in disk imaging backup and
disaster recovery;
Acronis Disk Director Suite, a powerful systems and
storage management application; and Acronis
Privacy Expert Suite, an award-winning set of tools that
include anti-spyware, personal security and privacy programs. In
addition, Acronis also offers Acronis Migrate Easy, an
essential tool for migrating data from one disk drive to
another.
Acronis OEM products are currently available in all markets
worldwide.
"The Acronis OEM program is designed for
computer systems and storage device manufacturers," said Max
Tsypliaev, CEO of Acronis. "Acronis' world-class products can be
bundled or embedded into the hardware to provide complete product
solutions. Acronis OEM products meet all the requirements of
computer system and storage device vendors. Choosing award-winning
Acronis OEM products guarantees a real value-add to the hardware
offerings and significant service savings."
"System and storage device manufacturers cannot
sell generic solutions to their customers and expect to be
recognized and distinguished from white-box suppliers," said Luis
Andrade, director of OEM Sales and Business Development for
Acronis. "Acronis' OEM solutions give manufacturers a powerful,
competitive edge that increase the value of their products and are
proven revenue-drivers. Acronis OEM partners have lower support
costs which, coupled with the increased value of their products,
translates into revenue gains."
Acronis True Image OEM for PC and Server vendors
is a value-added product used by system manufacturers to reduce
support costs and quickly build uniform system for their customers.
The software allows system vendors to create a compressed disk
image of the new system and save it to a hidden space on a hard
drive as well as burn on CD or DVD. In the event of the system
failure users can quickly and easily get the brand new system back
from the archive without reinstallations and, most important,
without contacting the vendor service hot line.
In addition, Acronis True Image OEM for PC and
Server allows users to create their own backup images, providing
the most comprehensive data protection and disaster recovery
solution.
Acronis True Image OEM HDD gives disk drive OEMs
the ability to bring to market whole product solutions for data backup and disaster recovery, not just hardware.
Acronis True Image OEM HDD for Drive vendors gives OEMs an edge,
giving them a powerful tool to increase the value of their products
and differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive
market.
Acronis Migrate Easy is the "must have" product
for hard disk drive vendors. It allows their customers to deploy a
new hard disk on a PC or laptop quickly and easily either as an
additional storage or as a bootable drive migrating all data,
operating systems, programs, and everything else automatically.
