Video Game Manufacturer Standardizes on Acronis True Image Enterprise Server

Acronis, Inc., the technological leader in storage management
software, announced that Video Gaming Technologies (VGT), Inc., of
Roebuck, SC, is standardized on Acronis True Image
Enterprise Server for its disaster recovery, networked server backup and disk cloning
solutions. VGT is the manufacturer of computerized video games,
such as Las Vegas-style blackjack and video slot machines,
generally found in casinos.
"VGT needed a solution that could quickly and
accurately clone
servers for deployment to the field," said John Plunkett, the
information systems director at VGT. "We also were looking for a
backup and recovery solution
for our enterprise servers. We reviewed a number of other imaging
products, in addition to shareware and freeware alternatives.
Acronis was quick and worked without any flaws; it surpassed our
expectations.

enterprise servers, including our mission-critical servers.," he
