Adding a Server to the Dashboard

1. Log in to the Dashboard website as a user with administrator privileges.
2. Select the Servers tab, and then click Add Server.
3. Fill all the fields, and click Submit.

The server now appears on the Servers List.

Note: You don‘t have to restart the Hub every time a new server is added.

By default, Sidecars will call the Hub on a periodic basis, which is the recommended configuration.

If you choose Yes from the Call Sidecar drop-down menu, the Dashboard Hub also will call the Sidecar on a periodic basis. In that case, you need to reconfigure your Sidecars not to call the server. If both sides attempt to call each other, errors might appear.

Also, if there is a Firewall running on the MassTransit server you added, it might block the Hub connection attempts. Therefore, you should add a Firewall exception for the listening port specified in the sidecar.cfg file (by default this port is 10011).
