Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud
for service providers

Acronis is committed to helping our service provider partners fit our award-winning cyber protection solutions neatly into their existing workflows. We know you have tools and systems in place already that you trust and rely on, and you shouldn’t be asked to change that.

That’s why we’re pleased to announce that Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud now integrates with Addigy, the popular cloud-based Apple device management platform. This new release enables service providers to deploy and deliver Acronis’ single-agent cyber protection solution across clients’ macOS workloads, greatly reducing their risk of data loss and downtime.

macOS protection needs are growing

While Windows-based systems are still the dominant presence at many companies, adoption of macOS in the workplace continues to rise. At least 55% of all small- and medium-sized businesses are now Mac-friendly, either encouraging or allowing their use. This trend has only accelerated over the last 18 months, as organizations have moved to remote-first or hybrid work models and increasingly adopted bring-your-own-device (BYOD) practices.

For service providers, there’s a growing need to adopt solutions that enable the identification, monitoring, and securing of sensitive data on macOS devices. Cybercriminals have ramped up their attacks against Macs to meet the new IT reality, and too few tools support the delivery of comprehensive protection for macOS. That’s where Acronis and Addigy come into play.

Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud and Addigy: Better together

This integration between Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud and Addigy empowers MSPs to strengthen the data protection and security services they deliver to client environments that include macOS devices. It also simplifies Apple device management by allowing IT admins to apply sophisticated protection plans, configure and enforce policies, monitor workflows, and remediate issues — all through a single pane of glass.

●      Simple configuration — Leverage standard macOS enrollment and configuration policies. A special script enables automatic download of the latest Acronis installer as appropriate for the macOS architecture and operating system in question.

●      Remote installation of the protection agent — Once configuration is done, simply deploy Acronis’ cyber protection agent from one centralized location. Protection supports both Intel and M1 devices.

●      Application of protection plans on a client level — Unleash the power of cyber protection to strengthen your clients’ security posture and resilience, as well as your own. Set a default protection plan for all macOS devices under your Addigy account, or define specific ones for individual clients.

●      Protection status monitoring and alerting — Stay on top of applied protection plans within the Addigy interface. Choose and configure the Acronis Facts you wish to monitor, and receive synchronized alerts all from one centralized location.

Final thought

The integration between Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud and Addigy enables MSPs to easily deploy and manage Acronis’ full range of cyber protection capabilities from within the Addigy RMM interface, ensuring greater data security and ease of management for today’s evolving business environments. Protecting clients’ macOS devices from modern cyberthreats has never been easier.
