Using Print Accounting Features from a Client

When a Macintosh user prints from a program and sends the job to a print queue to which you have assigned codes using Access Connect Print Accounting, their Print dialog box displays the information you assigned.

To use Print Accounting, do the following:

  1. Print to an available Access Connect Print Server print queue. If print accounting is enabled for that print queue, a special dialog box appears. The following is an example:

  2. Type in the information requested by the server. In the example above, the Access Connect Administrator has enabled Browse buttons for each field, so the Macintosh user can browse the list of codes for that field. Fields that have asterisks (*) before their names are required and must be completed before the job can be sent.
  3. Click Print to send the job to the selected print queue.
