MassTransit allows you to set services to be executed on files received on your server and on files which are sent to a remote contact. See the sections below for information on how to designate the services.
If the files sender has not designated services to be automatically executed on the received files, you can do so manually in the Received tab of the Files window in the MassTransit Administrator:
Note: You can find detailed information about the Files window and all available actions in it in the Files Window.
To designate services to be executed on files sent to a remote contact, you need to create an output to folder that is a sub folder of the To Send contact mailbox directory the first time you designate services. Then, to designate a service for a file or files, just place the file(s) in the configured output folder for the service.
You can create an output folder using the MassTransit Administrator or manually in Windows Explorer. The name of the output folder should be one of the following:
Note: ServiceName is the name of the service configured in the Services tab of the Setup window in MassTransit Administrator or a name identical to those of devices such as printers or drop folders that the remote contact has defined.
To create an output folder in the MassTransit Administrator, you need to edit a contact and configure it the "Mailbox Output Folders" section of the Mailbox tab. For detailed information on how to do that, see the section corresponding to the selected contact on the Contacts page.
