Our team is always working to ensure that Acronis MSP partners are equipped with the capabilities, training, and support they need to uncover new opportunities and new profits for their business.

In the October release of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, we’ve continued to show our commitment to that work: rolling out new licensing for Microsoft 365, new third-party integrations, and improved security capabilities that empower MSPs to meet the needs of more clients and increase your revenue.

Simplified “per workload” licensing for Microsoft 365

With the October release, Acronis MSP partners can streamline client onboarding and increase their business’ profitability with clients that use Microsoft 365 services. The new licensing structure for Microsoft 365 means that partners will only pay per seat – and gain access to unlimited Acronis Hosted Cloud Storage at the same time.

Improved security of API permissions within ConnectWise Manage integrations

MSPs using the popular ConnectWise Manage integration with Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud now have increased control over permissions based on role assignments. No longer will they need to rely on the generic “admin” role. The October release enables MSPs to set their own permissions for the API user within their ConnectWise Manage environment.

VMware vCloud gains backup and recovery task management delegation

MSP partners with vCloud Director administrators can now delegate backup and recovery tasks without compromising security by creating new “Organization self-service VM backup operator” roles with a custom set of permissions.

Support for upcoming macOS and Android OS versions

With MSP clients now working from anywhere, it’s more important than ever to support a wide array of platforms to ensure that the service you offer is as comprehensive as possible. The October release of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud extends protection to Android 12 and macOS 12 workloads, enabling you to offer cyber protection on day one of these upcoming releases.

New third-party integrations

This month new third-party integrations joined Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud through our on-going Lighthouse Program.

·       Datto RMM

·       Kaseya BMS

·       Tigerpaw

These integrations enable MSP partners to deliver comprehensive cybersecurity, data protection, and endpoint protection management through the RMM/PSA interface you already use.

New data center added in Oslo, Norway

Finally, the October release of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud runs parallel with the announcement of a new data center joining Acronis’ network of data centers around the world. The new location – Oslo, Norway – provides partners in the region with better connectivity and helps to keep clients compliant through increased opportunities for local data storage.
