Firewall Management Tasks
Managing online (regular) firewall involves the following tasks:
• Defining firewall rules
• Editing firewall rules
• Copying firewall rules
• Exporting and importing firewall rules
• Undefining firewall rules
• Deleting firewall rules
 
You can manage firewall rules using DeviceLock Management Console, DeviceLock Group Policy Manager, or DeviceLock Service Settings Editor.
 
Note: You can define different online vs. offline rules for the same user or user groups. Online rules (Regular Profile) apply to client computers that are online. Offline rules (Offline Profile) apply to client computers that are offline. By default, DeviceLock employs offline rules when the network cable is unplugged from the client computer.
