Activate Dialog Box

Location: On the Server Details page.
Access path: Servers tab on the menu bar, drill-down to single Local Recovery or Remote Recovery server in the servers list, in the Snapshots pane click snapshot to select it, then click Activate Server button.

For a Remote Recovery server, a snapshot is activated on a named network (VLAN), either test or production.

For a Local Recovery server, you can select to activate a snapshot without connecting a network interface card to the activated machine. To do this, clear the Connect NIC check box. Otherwise, a snapshot is also activated on a named network (VLAN), either test or production.

Available operations:

Begin the activation by selecting a network and clicking Ok.
Close the dialog box without activating by clicking Cancel.

While a snapshot is activating, a status pane appears. This automatically closes when the activation completes, it remains open if an error prevents the action from completing.
