Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud
for Service Providers

Service providers are entering a major infrastructure transition period. The global IaaS market is about $170 billion and growing at roughly 22% year over year. At the same time, VMware disruption is pushing 50%–75% of customers to evaluate alternatives, more than $30 billion of infrastructure spend is already flowing outside the major hyperscalers and sovereign Cloud demand is rising fast. The opportunity is clear: Service providers need a way to launch or expand infrastructure services with stronger economics and more control.

This makes timing especially important. This is not only a market shift; it is a window for service providers to modernize their own infrastructure strategy and capture new recurring revenue. Whether the goal is to replace VMware, launch a branded cloud offer, win back workloads from hyperscalers or meet sovereign cloud requirements, the underlying infrastructure platform must be purpose built for serviceprovider operations.

Introducing Acronis Cyber Frame

Acronis Cyber Frame is a secure hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) solution built specifically for service providers. It enables service providers to deliver virtual machines, storage and networking while protecting, managing and automating infrastructure services through a unified platform. Cyber Frame is built together with Virtuozzo on OpenStack and KVM, integrates with Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, supports multitenancy and white-label delivery and is available in two deployment models: Acronis-hosted Cyber Frame Cloud and service provider-hosted Cyber Frame Local.

Cyber Frame gives service providers a way to deliver infrastructure services on their own terms. Partners can start quickly with Cyber Frame Cloud, using Acronis-hosted infrastructure across 25 regional Acronis data centers with no hardware or data center investment. Or they can deploy Cyber Frame Local in their own data center or colocation environment to maximize control over performance, data location and long-term economics.

Why choose Cyber Frame?

The first reason is that Cyber Frame is built for service providers, not retrofitted for them. It offers native multitenancy, tenant isolation, customer self-service, API-based automation and integrations with PSA and RMM workflows. This makes it easier to package, bill, support and scale infrastructure services as part of a broader managed services business.

The second reason is that Cyber Frame is protected by default. Instead of bolting together separate tools, service providers can deliver VMs with preintegrated backup, disaster recovery, security and RMM capabilities. Cyber Frame includes AIassisted guidance for deployment, configuration and daily operations, helping providers reduce complexity and improve efficiency.

The third reason is that Cyber Frame enables service providers to deliver IaaS with greater flexibility and control. It is based on optimized OpenStack and KVM, which means no proprietary hypervisor lock-in and a foundation built on proven open technologies. Cyber Frame supports both Acronis-hosted and SP-hosted deployment, so partners can choose the model that fits their business today and evolve over time.

Cyber Frame also delivers strong economics. In a typical five-node Cyber Frame Local deployment, partners can achieve approximately 65% gross margin and 180% threeyear ROI, with about 40% TCO improvement for service providers versus legacy platforms. For Cyber Frame Cloud resale, typical gross margin can be around 40%–45%, significantly higher than standard hyperscaler reseller programs that often land in the 5%–10% range. Cyber Frame can also help service providers deliver up to 70% cost reduction for end clients versus legacy platforms.

Key business cases for service providers

Replace VMware: Cyber Frame helps service providers modernize legacy vSphere environments and migrate customers to either Acronis-hosted infrastructure or a partner-hosted shared cloud, with built-in protection and migration workflows.

Build your cloud: Cyber Frame provides the foundation for a multitenant IaaS platform under a partnerbranded model, with tenant isolation, self-service, centralized management and white-label delivery.

Resell IaaS profitably: Cyber Frame Cloud lets partners deliver virtual machines, networking, and storage from Acronis-hosted regional infrastructure on a pay-as-you-go basis, with predictable pricing and stronger margins than standard hyperscaler resale.

Repatriate workloads from hyperscalers: Cyber Frame helps providers capture workloads moving off public cloud by offering more predictable pricing, regional deployment options, and integrated cyber protection.

Offer sovereign IaaS: With regional Acronis facilities and partner-hosted deployment options, Cyber Frame helps service providers deliver infrastructure aligned with data residency, local control, and sovereignty requirements.

How to get started with the Early Access Program

The Acronis Cyber Frame Early Access Program starts on March 31, 2026. This is an ideal time to get hands on with the product, validate its fit for your business model and shape your launch motion ahead of general availability.

If you are interested in the Local deployment model in your own SP data center, Cyber Frame Local is already available from March 31, 2026. Tell your partner success manager if you have not already. If you have, your PSM will reach out shortly to arrange an intro call with a solutions engineer and start a POC.

If you are interested in the Cloud deployment model, please expect Cyber Frame Cloud to become available in your local data centers within the next two weeks. You can check the DC rollout schedule here. Once your DC is updated, follow the instructions in the EAP user guide.

Please note: In the initial phase, Cyber Frame Cloud will be available in 25 regional Acronis data centers. For the full and current list of available locations, see this Knowledge Base article.
