Acronis Continues Rapid UK Expansion with Appointment of New Technical Support Manager

Burlington, MA, February 7, 2007 - Acronis, Inc. (www.acronis.com/en-us/), the technological leader in storage management and data recovery software, today announced the appointment of Irfan Mirza as senior technical support manager for the UK. This new appointment reflects the company's rapid expansion in the UK and follows the recent opening of its UK headquarters in London.

Mirza will be responsible for providing training to resellers on Acronis' corporate solutions, enabling them to deliver exceptional first line product support to their own customers. Furthermore, Mirza will provide channel partners with direct customer assistance on large projects requiring specific technical product and infrastructure expertise.

This allows him to give our channel partners a client's perspective on the real data availability concerns faced by their new and existing customers, which in turn will help them increase sales and provide even more extensive pre- and post-implementation support."

Prior to joining Acronis, Mirza worked at Reckitt Benckiser as a global infrastructure architect with responsibility for supporting of two worldwide data centres. In addition, he played a key role in designing and installing a back-up solution for 400 servers and helped cut disaster recovery times by 75%.
