FOSE/WASHINGTON, DC, April 1,
2008 - Acronis, Inc. (www.acronis.com/en-us/), a provider of affordable,
scalable storage management and disaster recovery software,
announced today its partnership with FedTek, a reseller and systems
integrator to IT customers in federal and civil agencies.
IT buyers looking for powerful, easy-to-use and
cost-effective backup and recovery software will have access to the
Acronis True Image family of disaster recovery and virtualization
migration products, which will be available on the FedTek's General
Services Administration's (GSA) schedule and other contracts.
The partnership to put Acronis on these lists
was announced today in conjunction with the FOSE Conference &
Exposition taking place in the Walter E. Washington Convention
Center in Washington, DC from April 1-3, 2008. Acronis is
exhibiting at booth #1517J.
"Many divisions of the government require
products to be purchased on particular contracts," said Scott Deen,
president of FedTek. "Acronis will be available on different
government schedules which will allow Federal IT administrators to
purchase their backup and recovery solutions more efficiently
through FedTek."
"Agencies need a cost-effective way to securely
backup and quickly recover data and Acronis products, combined with
FedTek's services, provide customers with outstanding peace-of-mind
that comes from dealing with disaster recovery experts," said Eric
Dougherty, director of channel sales for Acronis. "FedTek is a
valuable partner as Acronis broadens its offerings to the
government sector."
As part of the partnership between Acronis and
FedTek, the companies will co-host a seminar this summer for
Federal government customers to learn about the disk-imaging backup
software, and how to streamline disaster recovery processes. Those
