Installing Acronis True Image

To install Acronis True Image

1. Download the Acronis True Image setup file from the Acronis website at https://go.acronis.com/true-image.
2. Download and run the Acronis True Image setup file (the file has a .dmg extension).

3. Double-click the Acronis True Image setup file (the file has a .dmg extension).

4. Double-click Install Acronis True Image in the Acronis True Image window.

5. Follow the installer steps. When prompted, provide administrator credentials.
6. Read and accept the terms of the license agreement.
7. [Optional] Allow Acronis to collect de-identified service usage information for analyzing and improving the service

   If you agree to participate, Acronis will anonymously collect technical information to improve Acronis True Image. Personal data, such as name, address, phone number, email address, and keyboard input, will not be collected.

8. When you start Acronis True Image for the first time, you can do one of the following in the Activation window:

   • To activate Acronis True Image, enter your serial number, and then click Activate. The product will be activated.

   • To sign in to your Acronis account, click Sign in. See Activating Acronis True Image for details.

   • To start trial, click Start trial.

You need to grant full disk access to Acronis True Image. Backup and cloning will not work properly, and protection will be disabled without full disk access. To grant access, follow the on-screen instructions in the window requesting Full Disk Access.
