Third-party Hosting Service Providers are subprocessors whose services provide hosting or infrastructure used to store and process Content Data as a part of use of
Acronis Services.
Categories of Personal Information Processed: Content data, which may include specific personal information such as names, contact details, health records, payment information, and related items;
Appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers: a) Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and Standard contractual clauses (SCCs)
b) Adequacy decision, where applicable, in accordance with
the European Commission Adequacy decisions For the avoidance of doubt, not all
Acronis data centers qualify as Hosting Service Providers. Certain facilities provide co-location services only, where Acronis owns, operates, and manages the infrastructure and systems deployed at the location. In such cases, the co-location provider does not host, process, or have logical access to personal data, and no access to Content Data is possible.
