OfficeMax Adds Acronis True Image to Its Shelves

October, 2006 — Acronis, Inc. (www.acronis.com/es-mx/), the technological leader in storage management software, announced that OfficeMax will now be selling Acronis True Image from its more than 1,000 superstores nationwide OfficeMax, serving everyone from the average PC user to enterprise organizations.

Acronis True Image is disaster recovery and backup software that allows users to create an exact duplicate image of their disk drive. Should the drive become damaged, the operating system corrupt or files accidentally deleted or overwritten, the image of the hard disk can be used to restore the disk to its known, good working state.

"With more than 1 million PCs under its protection, Acronis True Image has proven that it is the best at what it does. Office max customers who want to purchase Acronis products can do so in any OfficeMax store, their catalog or website. The agreement with OfficeMax and Acronis was put together by Toronto-based Silverline Software Publishing, Acronis' retail sales partner. Silverline's parent, DreamCatcher Interactive Inc., represents Acronis products to retail outlets throughout North America.
