One of Canada's Largest Law Firms Expands its Installed Base of Acronis Software
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF., December 7, 2004 Acronis, Inc., the technological leader in storage management solutions, announced that Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP (FMC), a law firm based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, has standardized its server disaster recovery and bare-metal restore requirements with Acronis True Image Server 8.0. The company improved its disaster recovery readiness by upgrading its server systems to the latest release of the Acronis software.
FMC was looking for a solution that would allow its network team to perform real-time server images prior to system upgrades or monthly maintenance. FMC utilizes technology extensively to service its clients and system down time is not an option. "To ensure we are prepared for a potential disaster, we selected Acronis True Image Server. Acronis brings peace of mind in knowing our server data can be restored in minutes," said Andreas Mollerup, Infrastructure Specialist at FMC. FMC has been using Acronis in production for the past month and has already reduced its maintenance window by at least 25%.
