January 2, 2007, Singapore Acronis (www.acronis.com/ja-jp/), the technological leader in storage management software, today announced the opening of its London offices to help meet growing channel and end user demand for its award-winning corporate backup, recovery, and storage management solutions.
The UK operations will be led by Kevin Moreau, business development manager for Acronis UK, who reports directly to Paris-based Laurent Dedenis, managing director of international sales for Acronis EMEA. Commenting on the opening of the new UK office, Kevin Moreau said: "The UK represents a significant growth opportunity for our corporate storage management solutions. With the help of the UK channel we intend to double our revenues within the first 12 months. Establishing a strong local presence is the first step in this process."
In addition to developing the existing UK channel infrastructure, Moreau is responsible for recruiting new UK channel partners as well as selling Acronis solutions though strategic partnerships with leading server and storage OEMs.
"We intend to provide comprehensive support to the UK channel ranging from product education and certification through to pre-sales support. We bring valuable best practice expertise in the backup and disaster recovery arena based on our experience with the thousands of SMB and enterprise customers around the world who already rely on the Acronis brand," added Moreau.
