Acronis appoints Denis Valter Cassinerio as new Regional Sales Director Southern Europe

SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland. January 25, Milan/Madrid - Effective as of today Denis Valter Cassinerio will fill the role as Regional Sales Director for Southern Europe. Cassinerio and his team will focus on expanding the partnership ecosystem as well as on other major milestones in Acronis´commitment to deliver integrated, automated cyber protection that solves the safety, accessibility, privacy, authenticity, and security (SAPAS) challenges of the modern digital world.

Denis Valter Cassinerio joins the team with more than 30 years of sales and cyber security industry experience serving in senior management leadership roles at companies such as BT Security, Trend Micro, and McAfee and most recently as Director of Sales Southern Europe at Bitdefender

2021 was a successful year for Acronis, in Europe, the cloud business was growing 70% year-over-year and Acronis Cyber Protect delivered protection to many thousands of businesses who faced unprecedented challenges and threats during the pandemic. Cassinerio will build on the success from 2021, including the $250 million investment from CVC Partners in May of last year to further enhance Acronis' go-to-market initiatives by expanding its broad partner network of managed service providers (MSPs) to keep the momentum going in 2022.
