When you have a mobile backup of your smartphone, you can easily transfer your personal data to another mobile device. For example, this is handy when you buy a new smartphone. Just recover your data from Acronis Cloud, or the local storage on your computer or NAS, to your new device.
To recover your data to a new smartphone:
Install and start Acronis Mobile.
Depending on the mobile backup location, do one of the following:
If the backup is stored in Acronis Cloud, tap Back up to Cloud, and then sign in to your Acronis account.
If the backup is stored on your computer or NAS, tap Back up to computer or NAS, make sure that the mobile device and the backup storage device (computer or NAS) are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and then scan the QR code to connect the mobile device to the computer or NAS. Refer to Backing up your mobile device to a computer or Backing up your mobile device to an NAS for details.
Acronis Mobile detects that there are mobile backups in Acronis Cloud or local storage.
Tap Files.
Select the mobile device to recover your data from. For example, if you want to transfer your data from your old smartphone, select it.
Select the data categories that you want to recover, and then tap Recover items. If you want to recover all data, tap Recover all.
To recover your data, use one of the following restore modes:
Skip existing items - use this option to restore only those items that have been previously changed or deleted from your device.
Restore all items - use this option to restore all backed-up data. Note, items that are already on your device will be duplicated.
Allow Acronis Mobile access to your personal data.
When the recovery is complete, your data is downloaded to your new device.
