Intelligence
Use Intelligence in Cyber Console to monitor the environments of your clients on dashboards, and to share what you find in reports. Each dashboard combines data from areas such as backup, monitoring, patch management, security, and service desk.
Dashboards and reports
A dashboard shows data that is updated continuously. A report is a snapshot of the data at the time that you generate it, for example, a weekly recap of the security of a client that you share with the client. Dashboards and reports are built from the same components, so you generate a report from a dashboard.
A dashboard consists of sections, and each section contains one or more widgets. A widget shows one set of data, such as the status of agents or the number of tickets.
Default dashboards
Acronis provides default dashboards that you do not need to build yourself. A default dashboard is a starting point. Edit it to make it your own: rename it, change its sections, and edit or delete its widgets. To start from a template or from a blank dashboard, create a new dashboard.
Customization
Customize dashboards to fit your processes and the look and feel of your company or of the company that you report to. For a dashboard, you set the sections and their order, the widgets, the clients that can see the dashboard, and the filters. For a widget, you set the data source, the type, the size, the filters, the exclusions of data, and the layout, such as colors, labels, number format, tooltips, and legend. For more information, see Dashboards and Widgets.
Dashboards panel
The panel on the left of the Intelligence page lists your dashboards. Dashboards are organized in categories, such as Overview, Operations, and Inventory. A category is a group of dashboards that you create, for example, to keep track of who builds which dashboards. Select a dashboard to open it. To find a dashboard, enter its name in the Search dashboards field.
How partners use Intelligence
Intelligence turns data about your clients into information that supports decisions and conversations with them. For example:
- To find protection gaps before they become problems for a client, check whether all discovered assets are managed, whether the managed devices are protected, and whether all devices are backed up. The same check applies to Microsoft 365, to see whether all mailboxes and cloud applications are covered.
- To give each team the view that it needs, start with the provided dashboards, adjust the layout, and add or change widgets. An operations team might focus on backup status and operational issues, and a security team on protection coverage, recent EDR incidents, and alerts.
- To discuss the compliance requirements of a client, use the compliance status, which shows the controls that are implemented and the work that is still required. For more information, see Compliance.
- To prepare a monthly business review, use the Monthly Business Report, which brings the information about a client together in one report. The report starts with an executive summary of the reporting period: what happened, what was addressed, and what still needs attention. Evidence supports the summary, such as the assets that are managed and protected, the backup performance, and the remaining gaps. The report also shows the use of Microsoft licenses (the allocated licenses that are in use, the storage consumption, and the seat usage), and the detections outside working hours and the unresolved security incidents, which can support a recommendation for a different level of service.
Acronis AI
The Acronis AI panel opens next to the dashboards. Use it to ask questions about your clients' assets and alerts in natural language, or select one of the suggested questions.
