Acronis launches first cloud data center in Sweden

SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland, March 10, 2022- Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection, today announced another significant investment in the Nordics, opening a new Acronis Cloud Data Center in Stockholm, Sweden. The new sustainable cloud data center gives all service providers access to a full range of cyber protection solutions upon which they can build new services, while delivering faster access, constant data availability, and data sovereignty to their clients.

Today Acronis announced a significant investment in its 15-years history in the Nordics, after Denmark and Norway last year and Finland this year, introducing the DC in Sweden today as the location for its next sustainable cloud datacenter region and a comprehensive commitment for its more than 100 Nordic partners. Powered by renewable energy, the datacenter will provide Swedish partners and customers of all sizes faster access to the Acronis Cloud, world-class cyber protection and the ability to store data at rest in the country.

With the new data center in Stockholm, Sweden, service providers will benefit from the combined service of data management from their local service providers and the full range of managed cloud solutions and cyber protection solutions available via the Acronis Cyber Cloud platform.

The new data center, is one of the 111 new data centres being of Acronis´s global network of Acronis Cloud Data Centers.
