Acronis Recovery for Microsoft Exchange requires the following hardware:

  • Pentium processor or higher
  • Mouse or other pointing device (recommended).
  • Exchange Server a minimum between 512 and 2048MB of RAM, depending on exchange version (for detailed requirements, please refer to the Exchange Server documentation).

Installation notes

  1. Install Acronis Recovery for Microsoft Exchange Console on Administrator Computer.
  2. Install Acronis Recovery for Microsoft Exchange Agent on computer where Microsoft Exchange Server is installed.
  3. Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects (MAPI/CDO) need to be installed to support Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. Known Issues and Limitations of the Version

  • Incremental backup does not support Backup Server location if Acronis Backup Server version is 8163 or lower.
    Acronis Backup Server must be updated to the version 8163 or higher.
  • Bare Metal Restore is not supported under Windows 2008 if Acronis True Image Echo version is 8163 or lower.
    Acronis True Image Echo must be updated to the version 8163 or higher.
