Installing MassTransit Web Assistant Plug-in

In order to be able to transfer files using the MassTransit Web Assistant plug-in, you need to download and install it on the machine you use to log into the MassTransit web site.

When you log into the MassTransit web site and you have not installed the plug-in, you will be redirected to plug-in download page or the HTTP mode download page, depending on the MassTransit Server settings. If you are using the HTTP mode and you want to download the plug-in, you can do so by clicking on the "Get the latest version of the plug-in" link that would launch the MassTransit Plug-in Download page.

To install the plug-in:

  1. Click on the Download button.
  2. After the successful download, close the web browser and double click the MTWebClient.msi file for Windows machines and MTWebClient.dmg file for Mac OS X machines.
  3. Then, you will be guided through the installation by the plug-in installer.
  4. After installing the plug-in you need to restart the web browser in order to be able to use the plug-in the next time you log in to the MassTransit web site. If you use the MassTransit plug-in, an automatically started Web Assistant will handle the file transfers.

Note: On Firefox, you may see a prompt that another program wants to modify Firefox, with the following add-on - Acronis MassTransit Web Extension. Select Allow this installation and press Continue.
