During difficult times like this, it’s easy to feel like we’re not operating at our best. And as we all adjust to today’s “new normal” in both our personal and professional lives, it’s important to find ways to maintain our mental health.

As a benefit to our partners, customers, and employees, Acronis is hosting a series of virtual events specifically dedicated to this topic with experts from Hintsa Performance.

For more than 20 years, Hintsa Performance has proven its scientific approach to mental preparedness and coaching in the most challenging business and sports environments. Now, armed with lessons and experience from high-pressure sports like F1, they’ll share with the Acronis community how we can optimize our cognitive performance and stay mentally healthy, productive, and energetic.

These live events will feature a panel of experts from Acronis, Hintsa, and other organizations. We invite you to join these lively and insightful discussions.

Improving Cognitive Performance

The first webinar, How to Improve Your Cognitive Performance and Work Smarter, Not Harder, took place earlier this week on Tuesday.

Acronis Chief Cyber Officer and Chief Operating Officer Gaidar Magdanurov met with James Hewitt, Performance Scientist at Hintsa. They spoke about how rises in automation and augmentation — as well as an aging population — are making human cognitive capabilities are an increasingly important differentiator in the workplace.

The two were joined by Aurélie Lamy, founder of the CAREFORMANCE Group and Consultant Cerebral Trainer to ROKiT Venturi Racing Formula E team, for a discussion on training your brain to boost mental performance and well-being. She explained how to identify our predominant brain type — as well as the strengths and limitations we can expect as a result — and showed us the power of relaxation, focus, and repetition in building new, healthier habits.

The two will be joined by John Kirkpatrick, Head of Strength and Conditioning at Sale Sharks, and James Leinhardt, CEO and founder of Levitex Foams Ltd, for a panel discussion on the importance of rest and recovery. They’ll include some practical tips on sleep management that you can start putting into action today.
