Position Title:   Digital Media Community Evangelist (Recruitment # / R-100355)


Provide technical support and social engagement with Acronis customers, partners and prospects. Learn and build key industry influencers loyalty. Increase thought leadership and ensure industry trust. Establish relationships with opinion leaders, build thought leadership of Acronis, and solidify the community’s trust and loyalty towards the company and its products. Develop and maintain Acronis communities on relevant platforms. Monitor, discuss and deliver feedback from customers, partners and influencers. Answer technical questions and respond to comments and feedback in Acronis’ and other related communities. Collect and prioritize product feedback and technical blockers with development and other teams as necessary. Conduct semantical analysis of Acronis and its competitor’s mentions. Interact with community members in written form and through calls, panels, webinars, and podcasts. Champion Acronis solutions and technologies with tech communities at conferences, meetups, and online. Moderate posts and content for adherence to community standards. Drive the daily execution and growth across social, community, and influencer programs. Work with customers, partners, internal product and engineering teams to vet new product ideas. Work with the marketing team to promote marketing campaigns and meet lead goals. Mentor junior team members. Gather, analyze and regularly provide reports to company leadership about concerns and industry news. Own the upload/publishing and optimization of content of the Acronis YouTube channel and oversee general day to day operations, mentor other teams on the best practices. Work with analytics team on data driven audience strategy to optimize titles, tags, descriptions, cards, playlists, thumbnails and other content/features across the channels. Use TubeBuddy, VidIQ, Tubular Labs, and other platforms to share additional insights with respective teams. Monitor and drive conversation across Acronis YouTube content and other relevant channels. Assist with video editing and graphic design.
Telecommuting is Hybrid, and telecommuting up to 100% is allowed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Marketing, Linguistics, Philology or a directly related field plus three (3) years of experience in the marketing field. Experience must include:

Three (3) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

  • Building, growing and managing communities
  • Experience with technology communities
  • Video editing software, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere
  • Windows OS (workstation and server family)
  • Project management tools (JIRA, ADN)
  • Google Analytics

Two (2) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

  • Social media, including YouTube channel management
  • Writing social media copy, video titles and descriptions
  • MacOS and Linux-bases OS
  • Web-scrapping and data mining

One (1) year of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently)

  • Youtube’s Creator Studio or Content ID back-end tools

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary: $122,000.00 - $127,000.00 /year.
