Acronis mobilEcho and Citrix Partnership Helps IT Manage Mobile Apps and On-Demand Data Access

Today we announced a new relationship with Citrix! We are now a Citrix Ready Worx Verified partner with the integration of our secure mobile file management software, mobilEcho, into the Citrix Ready Worx Verified program.

The Citrix MDX technology allows IT to set comprehensive policy-based controls such as data leakage prevention and the ability to remote lock, wipe and encrypt apps and data. Enterprise IT teams can then apply security and access policies to participating MDX applications, including mobilEcho, across any iOS and Android device. So what’s the benefit to the enterprise? They now have an MDM solution that allows them to effectively manage multiple apps within their environment. 

To integrate mobilEcho with Citrix MDX, Acronis used the Worx App SDK to easily embed MDX in its mobilEcho app, extending the product as a secure solution to Citrix customers using any Android or iOS based device. Citrix MDX allows end users to maintain direct, secure access to the mobilEcho app while enabling IT to enforce the data-security and data-access rights required by their organization.This integration will further help mobility IT managers manage the growing number of mobile apps end users are adopting for productivity and on-demand data access.

mobilEcho, combined with Citrix MDX, utilizes the existing mobilEcho server product which is available on the market today. Look for the mobilEcho MDX capable app this summer.
