What type of Partners should enroll in the Program?
If you’re a value-added reseller, solution and service provider, or a system integrator, and you offer backup and recovery, data protection, infrastructure, virtualization, security, system management or software solutions, this new Program is for you. No matter what your level of involvement, it’s beneficial for you to join. There are plenty of advantages – even at the entry level.
If I am already an Acronis Partner, do I need to join this new Program?
This is now the only Partner Program for resellers and service providers of Acronis. As an existing Partner, you are automatically enrolled in the new Program at a level that corresponds to your current criteria. And better yet, you’ll be charted favorably and offered a flexible transition until the end of 2011 to meet the new requirements for your level.
Is there an entry fee to join the Program and become a Partner?
There is no entry fee to join. At the entry level (Acronis Authorized Partner), there are no minimum sales requirements either. Should you progress to higher levels within the Program, we’ll ask that you achieve various certification levels and revenue thresholds, but no entry fee will be required.
What do I need to do to enroll in the Program?
Getting started is easy. Sign up today at the Acronis Partner Portal at http://partners.acronis.com/ and provide all the company details necessary. Acronis will confirm your registration by email and then invite you to attend an introductory Webinar, followed by a quick online self-assessment quiz. After successfully passing this quiz, you will be automatically enrolled in the Program as an Acronis Authorized Partner.
What are the Acronis Partner Program levels?
There are four levels in all. The higher you go, the better the benefits. You begin as an Acronis Authorized Partner (entry level) and can then move up to Silver, Gold and Platinum levels. Progressing to a new level gives you an increase in benefits, such as bigger discounts, more technical support, more NFR software licenses, lead generations and marketing support. Likewise, each new level comes with increased requirements, such as higher-level Acronis certifications and a joint business plan.
What are the requirements to become an Acronis Partner?
Joining our Program at the entry level (Acronis Authorized Partner) requires only registering at our online portal and taking part in self-assessment online training. There are no entry fees or revenue requirements at this level.
What if I don’t meet the requirements?
The flexibility of our Program is what makes it advantageous and, in fact, that includes moving in both directions. Nevertheless, every level has its perks, so you’ll always benefit no matter where you end up. If you fail to meet the requirements of a specific level, such as certifications or revenue forecasts, you can be re-qualified at a lower level. However, even the base level (Acronis Authorized Partner) offers a secure foundation for you to continue benefiting from Acronis resources and support.

In addition, we have an internal-use policy offering 50% discounts off Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) to our partners for a certain number of licenses.
