Acronis Names Tech Industry Veteran Michael Coney as President, General Manager for the Americas

Acronis®, Inc. (www.acronis.com), a provider of affordable, scalable storage management and disaster recovery software, has named storage industry veteran Michael F. Coney as president and general manager for the Americas. Coney will be responsible for all sales, channel, and regional marketing activities in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America regions.

Prior to joining Acronis, Coney served as the senior vice president of sales for the Internet recruitment site Monster Worldwide and the enterprise disaster recovery software vendor VERITAS Software (now part of Symantec.) He also served as executive vice president of worldwide sales, support and services for database software vendor Ingres Software. Earlier he held senior sales positions at Sun Microsystems and Intergraph Corp.
