MSPs leveraging Acronis EDR now can accelerate their incident analysis and response times with AI-generated incident summaries. This addition builds upon the existing AI-based interpretations of incidents, which are mapped to MITRE ATT&CK® attack stages, providing Acronis partners with a more efficient and insightful way to handle cybersecurity threats. Partners now have an enhanced ability to test and fine-tune Acronis endpoint protection features in production environments before proceeding to full deployment. Administrators can utilize a passive monitoring mode for end-client environments. This mode focuses on just sending notifications for detections from antivirus and anti-malware, Active Protection, URL filtering, and EDR, while not taking actions such as stopping, blocking, or quarantining these detections.

Keeping up with the latest technology, partners now have the ability to protect the most recent versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and AlmaLinux operating systems: 9.0, 9.1, 9.2 and 9.3. This ensures that businesses using these platforms can rely on Acronis for comprehensive backup and recovery solutions.

Following ConnectWise's announcement in November 2023 of a new backup dashboard in its Asio platform, we’re introducing support for this dashboard in our ConnectWise Asio integration, version 2.3. This update adds alarms and backup job information for Acronis backups, enabling partners using the ConnectWise Backup Dashboard to monitor the status and health of their backups in real time.

The latest version of the ConnectWise Automate integration introduces several improvements and fixes, enhancing stability and performance. Key among these is faster alert synchronization, ensuring a more efficient and responsive integration.

The newest update for the Jamf Pro integration streamlines the alert reporting process. It addresses the issue of maintaining unique names for extension attributes, which are essential for reporting alerts, even when the alert types in Acronis are identical. This ensures a more organized and effective alert management system.

We are excited to expand our Application Catalog with innovative integrations from our technology partners, enhancing both cybersecurity and automation. Notable additions include EasyDMARC for streamlined email authentication, Adlumin for centralized security data visibility, passwordless access with Traitware, SendMarc for simplified DMARC management, LastPass for integrated password management, XenexSoc for real-time alarm monitoring, and BigPanda for actionable IT incident management. In automation, Integrately offers easy app connections and Frends enables automated user management.

In this update, we have reworked the user interface for the “exclusions” settings in antivirus and anti-malware protection and URL filtering. The new design is more intuitive and user friendly and supports network folder paths and wildcards, improving your precision in identifying threats.

In Acronis Advanced Management, we have extended the “All updates” option to include Windows third-party products. This option enhances security by deploying the latest patches, encompassing both minor and major updates, and simplifies the deployment process by installing all available updates.

For some business-critical applications, ensuring application-consistent, or “quiesced,” backups is critical. The new option to enforce the use of application-consistent (VSS-aware, quiesced) VM snapshots for backups enhances data integrity, particularly for complex applications and databases. This option not only reduces the risk of data corruption but also aids in compliance with various regulatory standards, ensuring more reliable and compliant data backups.

MSPs can now seamlessly integrate Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud with over 6,000 apps, enhancing workflow automation and operations. The integration possibilities are boundless: receive Acronis alerts through apps like Teams and Slack, synchronize them with support systems, streamline billing and reporting by directing customer usage data to invoicing and BI systems, and provision tenants using spreadsheet or CRM data.

With the 23.10 release, Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud now supports functionalities including backup, security, management and file sync and share for macOS 14 Sonoma workloads. This ensures the protection and functionality of devices operating on Apple’s OS released on September 26, 2023.

PAYG partners now have the option to communicate directly with an Acronis sales representative via chat in the management portal. This feature enables partners to ask sales-related questions and understand solutions tailored for service providers, including their licensing details. While currently available only to PAYG partners, we plan to extend support to other partner types in future releases.

The new TCO calculator for trial partners enables accurate cost estimations for the services trial partners aim to provide using Acronis. When trialing Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, click on the "Calculate monthly costs" item in the management portal to access the calculator.

The Acronis Generic SIEM Connector allows Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud to send alert-level data to any SIEM system that supports the Common Event Format (CEF) over SYSLOG for further correlation and analysis to reveal patterns of activity that may indicate an intrusion attempt. By enabling the integration with a SIEM solution, partners add a layer of protection to their customers’ businesses and mitigate the risks of downtime and security breaches caused by evolving cyberattacks. Acronis is committed to further integrating security-related telemetry with SIEM systems in the following months.

Now partners can extend and automate a customer’s cyber protection from modern cyberthreats by enabling the integration between Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel. The integration allows for synchronization with the Microsoft security ecosystem by sending Acronis alert-level data to Microsoft Sentinel. Microsoft Sentinel delivers intelligent security analytics and threat intelligence across workspaces managed by partners. Acronis continues to test new versions of integrated third-party products to provide partners with the most efficient modern cyber protection. Now partners who use VMware vSphere 8.0 and Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud can be sure products work together in the best way, including basic and advanced VM backup/recovery scenarios such as Application-aware VM backup, VM replication with failover/failback, backup/recovery of VMs located on vSAN 8 storage, recovery of VM with the newest virtual hardware version, and preserving the newest guest OS versions (vSphere property of the VM) during VM recovery.

Now, administrators can configure backup frequency for any supported Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace workload. Partners can schedule backup up to 6 times per day, so they always keep what has already been done in case of an accident or cyberattack and can return to their usual working rhythm faster.

Expand anti-malware protection of macOS workloads with Apple M1/M2 CPUs (on top of already-supported Intel CPUs), against new and unknown threats with the extended support of our behavior engine leveraging advanced heuristics.

From August, 2022 onward, Acronis will not charge for blocked seats (i.e., inability to log into Microsoft 365) with access to the protected SharePoint Online site and / or Teams, in case their OneDrive and / or mailbox are not protected.

Partners that leverage the AppDirect Integration are able to answer the dynamic needs of their clients and implement new pricing models to sell the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud and advanced packs with flexible usage-based billing – per-GB or per workload. Usage reports will be automatically uploaded to AppDirect at the end of each month, triggering billing in the client’s account and will be provided to partners as an accurate account statement reflecting what was consumed during the period.
