Video Game Manufacturer Standardizes on Acronis True Image Enterprise Server
June 28, 2005, South San Francisco, CA Acronis, Inc., the technological leader in storage management software, announced that Video Gaming Technologies (VGT), Inc., of Roebuck, SC, is standardized on Acronis True Image Enterprise Server for its disaster recovery, networked server backup and disk cloning solutions. VGT is the manufacturer of computerized video games, such as Las Vegas-style blackjack and video slot machines, generally found in casinos.
"VGT needed a solution that could quickly and accurately clone servers for deployment to the field," said John Plunkett, the information systems director at VGT.
