Exporting a policy

Download the configuration of a policy as a JSON file.

You can export a policy even if your role grants only read-only access to policies. You can also export a policy that a parent tenant owns.

To export a policy

1. In Cyber Console, go to Protection > Policies > All policies.

2. In the row of the policy, open the row menu, and then click Export.

Your browser downloads a JSON file that is named after the policy, with a timestamp. For example, Daily backup.2026-10-06T10-15-00-000Z.json.

If the export fails, a message asks you to try again.

You can also export a policy on the policy details page, under the policy name.

You can export only one policy at a time.
