Workflow components

Workflows are built from the following types of components, combined on a visual canvas:

• Workflow triggers

  Start the workflow, either when a specific platform event occurs, or on a predefined schedule.

• Workflow conditions

  Branch the workflow logic depending on whether one or more criteria are met.

• Workflow actions

  Perform an operation, such as running a script, applying a protection plan, or sending an email.

• Tenant-specific data

  Populate actions with data from the tenant environment.

• Workflow cycle

  Iterate over a list of items returned by a trigger or action, and apply conditions and actions to each item individually.
