Acronis launches online community for its partners

London, UK- 13 January 2009 - Acronis is today launching its new EMEA partner portal to equip resellers and distributors with instant access to tools to support their sales lifecycle.

The portal will provide 24 hour one-stop access to all sales and marketing collateral as well as technical resources including an online support enquiry form and knowledge-based material to allow partners to gain a better insight into Acronis and its solutions. A partner portal hotline which will be open during office hours, plus dedicated support via email will also be launched to answer partner enquiries.

This online community platform is available to all Acronis partners and its certified resellers will be listed on the website in the Partner Locator. It is designed to give resellers the edge when selling Acronis products by providing lead generation support and training materials. The portal also will enable partners to register sales opportunities online.

The launch supports Acronis' tiered channel model and its Acronis Certified Engineer Programme (ACE) which provides online technical training on Acronis and its solutions. The company's tiered channel programme consists of three levels:

Acronis Software Partner: has access to online technical support, sales and marketing materials, plus a listing on the website

Acronis Certified Partner: gains comprehensive sales training, technical certification, and access to joint marketing funds and the regional channel manager

Acronis Enterprise Solutions Partner: benefits from dedicated assistance and support from Acronis on pilot projects
