Acronis boosts reseller margins

Acronis offers partners opportunity to win up to £100,000

London 30 July 2009 - Acronis is today launching a new partner incentive designed to increase reseller margins by up to 30 % by protecting and rewarding business opportunities.

The Acronis Opportunity Registration Programme (AOR) allows Acronis Certified Partners and Enterprise Solutions Partners to benefit from additional margin for each new opportunity they introduce to Acronis. The new programme allows partners to increase their profitability, and protects their presales investments by registering that deal to the partner.

For a limited time the Acronis Opportunity Registration programme can be accessed by all Acronis partners and registration is easy. Any partners can register an opportunity over the value of £2000 by completing a simple online registration form on the partner portal.

On top of earning additional margin, and until 30th September 2009, any individual registering an opportunity on the Acronis Partner Portal will be entered into a competition for the chance to win up to £100,000*.

The Acronis® Opportunity Registration Programme awards commercially engaged and trained Certified and Enterprise Solution partners. Acronis views the education, training and resource enablement of partners as an investment that will significantly impact their market presence and industry position for years to come. Acronis channel partners benefit from comprehensive technical, sales and marketing support to successfully promote the Acronis solutions and drive their sales efforts.


  • The reseller registering the opportunity must have Certified Partner or Enterprise Solutions Partner status with Acronis.
  • Acronis Software Partners can access the programme until 30th September however they must be registered on the Acronis Partner Portal
  • The registered end user must be new to Acronis and the opportunity must be 100% Partner-generated.
  • The client must have received a formal quote for the opportunity.
  • The Partner must play an active role in closing the sale; otherwise registration may be revoked.

The Acronis Partner Programme consists of three levels with different services and advantages

  • Acronis Software Partners belong to the entry level of the Acronis Partner Programme. Acronis Software Partners demonstrate basic knowledge in the Acronis solutions accessing sales training and keeping up to date with Acronis corporate and product updates.
  • Acronis Certified Partners belong to the intermediate level of the Acronis Partner Programme. Acronis Certified Partners demonstrate strong expertise in the Acronis solutions acquired through sales training and technical certification. They provide solutions for their local market in partnership with the Acronis regional teams and run lead generation campaigns jointly with Acronis.
  • Acronis Enterprise Solutions Partners belong to the highest level of the Acronis Partner Programme. This level requires in-depth product knowledge acquired through advanced sales training and technical certification. Acronis Enterprise Solutions Partners work closely with the Acronis experts for the succesfull roll-out of large scale projects.

Other tools to help Partners

A new EMEA partner portal was launched at the beginning of 2009 to equip resellers and distributors with instant access to tools to support their sales lifecycle. The portal provides a one-stop access to all sales and marketing collateral as well as technical resources including an online support enquiry form and knowledge-based material to allow partners to gain better insight into Acronis and its solutions. The portal also allows access to over ten turnkey lead generation campaigns which can be co-branded with partners.
