Acronis kicks off first UK partner roadshow

Acronis seeks to strengthen relationship with SMB resellers

London, UK, October 29, 2009 - Acronis is embarking on its first UK partner roadshow. The series of events aim to recruit new resellers and bolster the vendor's existing relationships with SMB channel partners.

The events are to be held at football stadiums in Birmingham, London and Leeds, and will take place throughout November and December. The seminars will offer an insight into the company's strategic direction, as well as provide information on how Acronis can increase margins for SMB resellers.

In addition, there will be sales and technical breakout sessions on Acronis Backup & Recovery 10, a recently launched portfolio which combines backup and recovery, deduplication and support for virtual environments in one solution. The roadshow closely follows the recruitment of David Blackman, Acronis General Manager for Northern Europe:

"One of my key objectives at Acronis is to strengthen the relationship we have with resellers and provide more knowledge transfer on our solutions in order for us to truly help our partners develop. We specialise in providing disaster recovery solutions to the SMB, this is a lucrative market for resellers and there is plenty of opportunity for those who partner with us."
