Saving a custom filter

Save a set of filter conditions under a name so that you can apply the same conditions again without rebuilding them.

To save a custom filter

1. In Cyber Console, go to Assets > Devices > All devices.

2. Click Apply filters.

3. To filter by device attributes other than Protection status and Last successful backup, click Customize. In the Customize filters dialog, select the filters that you need, and then click Save.

   The filters are grouped into General, CPU, memory, disks, Operating system, Agent, Location, and Protection.

4. Specify the conditions that the devices must meet.

5. Click Save filter.

   The Save filter dialog opens.

6. In Filter name, enter a name for the filter, and then click Save.

7. To filter the device list by these conditions now, click Apply.

The custom filter appears in the filter list at the top of the Apply filters panel. A custom filter and a custom view work independently. Applying one does not change the other.
