A tenant is created, but some settings are not applied

Apply the missing settings to a tenant that you created, when the creation page shows a warning and a Retry button.

Symptom

After you click Create, the creation page stays open, a warning appears at one or more fields, and the Create button changes to Retry. The warning names the tenant and the setting that could not be applied:

Field or section Warning Cause
Administrator <tenant name> was created, but the administrator account could not be created. The warning can end with the reason. The administrator details are not accepted. For example, another user already has the login or the email address.
Pricing mode <tenant name> was created, but its pricing mode could not be set. The pricing mode that you selected for the customer cannot be saved.
Management mode <tenant name> was created, but its management mode could not be set. The tenant cannot be switched to Self-service, and it stays managed.
Standards <tenant name> was created, but its compliance standards could not be applied. The compliance standards that you selected for the customer cannot be saved.

Cause

When you create a tenant, Cyber Console first creates the tenant, and then applies its pricing mode, management mode, compliance standards, and administrator account. If one of these settings fails, the tenant already exists. When you click Retry, Cyber Console applies only the failed settings again to the same tenant, and does not create a second tenant.

To apply the missing settings

  1. If the warning is in the Administrator section, correct the field that the warning names. For example, enter a different login.

  2. At the top right of the page, click Retry.

  3. If the warning appears again, contact the Support team.

The missing settings are applied to the tenant.

After you leave the creation page, you cannot change the compliance standards of the customer.

To create the administrator after you leave the creation page

  1. Open the user list in one of the following ways:

    • For the users of a tenant: in Cyber Console, go to Clients, click the tenant name, and then click Users in the side navigation.

    • For the users of your own company: in Cyber Console, go to My company > Users.

  2. Create a user with the Company administrator role. See Creating a user.
